It is finally spring! My favorite time of year. And I think it may be little man's favorite too. He loves going outside. We spend at least SOME time outside everyday that we can because he loves to pet the kitties and try to feed them leaves! The other day, I was sweeping off the front porch and I had to give Jack a broom to because he wanted to help...he loves being Mommy's little helper. I've been working more lately because the hospital has needed extra help; I don't like that I have to spend more time away from him and Ryan, but I do like the fact that Jack is getting the opportunity to spend more time with Ryan. I think baby boys need their dads! And they have such a great time together. See, God does have a plan =)
Tomorrow we get to go on a shopping trip with Melissa and Cade, and Amanda and Gavin. I'm so glad that we have friends that have kids the same age because I love the fact that Jack has friends that he will be able to grow up with. They are so funny when they are together!
I don't have any recent pictures downloaded onto the computer yet, but I'll get them on here ASAP and post them!

It has literally been forever since I have posted anything! I am going to try to be better about it because I love looking at my friends blogs. I don't think I even told anyone I started a blog the last time I posted anything (which also happens to be the first time I posted anyting)! Jack is now 1! He is growing up so fast, but it is so amazing to watch him learn and show more of his personality daily. He seems to understand everything we tell him. He also has such an eagerness to help. Hopefully this will last! I pray everyday that he will grow up to have a servant's heart and be a Godly man...he definitely has an excellent example in his father! Ryan is such a great father! I am definitely blessed to have these two boys in my life!
We just celebrated Christmas and the New Year. It really is true that your Christmas spirit is renewed when you have kids. It was so much fun to see him get so excited over the tree and the lights...and the presents! Jack is still trying to open the presents we have yet to give to family! We put all of the decorations away today, which I have figured out is a much bigger task when you have a one year old who likes to "help"! Here are some pics from Christmas
He loved the bows!!!!
First present...didn't take him long to figure out how to open them!

Ok, I've been told by many family members and friends that I need to try this blogging thing, so here I go. It's amazing how everyone is so much more interested in our lives once there is a baby involved! I understand though...he is pretty cute! I guess it's a pretty good week to start this because baby Jack had many new "achievements" this week. He got a new tooth (so now he has three), and he is now pulling up to stand at any chance he gets! Won't be long before he is walking...yikes! Oh, and he started growling! Which I guess isn't that wonderful, but it's pretty darn hilarious to watch him crawl around the living room growling. Our niece, Mackenzie used to do the same thing when she was little. Must be a family thing! Anyway, I got some video of him doing it last night, so if I can figure out how to post it, I'll put it on here.
